WOW, some of those are great. Being from a western civilization, I still think the Asian pictures are much more representative of what a better society could be for quite a few of the images like: The Child, The Elderly, Way Of Life, Contacts… So we could all benefit in sharing and learning from other cultures.

Great depiction. I think almost all of them are really true, some almost hilarious (queues, parties and opinions)

So funny, much of it is true! I’m from the west and living in Asia now… Yes, Sunday is shopping day as everyone seems to work 6 days a week and boss is 10 feet tall lol

I don’t know… Asians seem to be very punctual. Especially Japanese.

@Rajavanya - I agree. Its an individual trait and not specific to any culture or region.
I love the queues pictures though. I totally agree with those.

omg, I laughed at quite a few of these. Some made me think a bit hard too. I loved this post! There’s nothing better than looking at other cultures with a new outlook.

Being a blogger from China, I basically agree with what these pictures conveyed.
In fact their author is a Chinese girl born in Germany. Her comparison between the Chinese and Western cultures is very profound.

Some of those are great and shows there are some similarities between the two. WOuld would be interesting is a country by country set.

I agree that a country by country comparison would be neat to see.

I would also like to see country by country comparison.

These are funny! But I have understood that differences between f.ex Japan and China are huge, so I guess it’s not just that simple.

Sometimes a picture can say a 1000 words and I think that these pictures make that point very vividly. You could not express these sentiments in words with the same impact. Excellent post

Its amazing how much you can actually learn from investingating those images. A few I sort of knew but others I had to look further to actualyl assess their meaning.
