Within my 18 years of living, I’ve read about mind power, telekinesis, hypnosis and subconscious mind but there isn’t any convincing proof that they really work. How about you? This freaky guy called Criss Angle nicknamed himself as a mind freak and had done some pretty good magic shows through what he believed as mind power. Watching them has been a great entertainment but of course one should not believe that they are real.
Trickbusters via their home-made videos have busted some of the magic performed by Criss Angle. They said to have done it through logical thinking and anyone can do it as well but obviously they had made research and analysis before they could reveal the secrets behind each magic.
Here’s the original video showing Criss Angle got hit by the steamroller and survived without any injury:

Fantastic Fuad. I shall now become more skeptical about such magic shows!

David Blaine is way better than this guy. At least he got it right by doing some real stunts that were monitored by certified professionals from related fields.

@Putra:
Some of the stunts failed though. I think David might has lost his interest in performing illusory feats.

I knew it! They trick us. Lol.
But the trick was so graceful though.
It’s like the WWE. They are not performing as wrestlers / magicians but entertainers.

I have alway’s loved magic even though I know its not real, It was always nice to think that it was. Somehow the unknown is what makes life worth living.

I knew that there was something wrong with this. I knew it

I myself have published a number of books about magic. The thing about information is once it is learned by you, that information is yours to do with as you please. The only thing you need to watch out for is plagiarism, always put everything into your own words or put your own spin or variation on a trick.

I’m sorry, but I have to be honest and say this guy really agitates me. It’s all a major scam. Ugh!

Before a few years, there wa sa T.V. show where and illusionist that used to wear black suit with a mask on his face, in each episode he revealed some of magic tricks, do you know his name? or his nickname as appeared in the show? i just can’t remember it.

The T.V. show you mentioned is Breaking The Magician Code.

Really love magical/death defying stunts like these, although I do personally know that this is too good to be true.

Always love a great magician, but I would rather see a great street performer live then see the doctored version on TV.
May 25th, 2009 at 3:48 pm
Mox I agree. People like Criss Angel are more movie stuntman than magician. The steamroller video gave me a good laugh though. Loved the trickbusters clip too.

My heart was in my throat, at least until I watched the second video!

I love shows that show how the magic is done. I still remember the show on Fox a few years back called “Magic Secrets Revealed” or something to that extent. On the show they would tell you that most often the magician would film stuff off camera and later cut it out for the show.
Definitely “more movie stuntman than magician.” in this video.

Looks frightening, but the guy really talent! Parody funny ..

I know this is an old post but I had never seen these videos before. It is impressive how you can fake these stunts and make them look so real.

Chris Angel is great on TV although I think half of his tricks are based on the angle that you watch them. I would love to see some of his stuff live. (like the one where he comes though the glass).

How can I believe it to be true? Trust me it looks so real though..
June 10th, 2009 at 11:33 am
It’s must not be real… nice discover!
June 11th, 2009 at 10:09 am
It does not look real at all. Even if I saw this in person I would just be laughing at him.

This guy has such a great racket going.
Notice how the people are set waaay back from the trick area.
“Seriously, if something goes wrong, that was me.”
Seriously, if something goes wrong, he needs to go get a real job.
