I get rid of the extra Operating System? Or get it off of partition? The extra system takes up an incredible amount of disk space. The Operating Systems are both Windows XP home edition.

However, as mentioned above, it may be simpler to just format the disk. However, the next step is to remove the reference to the volume in the boot menu.

any recommendations for an FTP client? Or is that one you can install on firefox the best?
October 2nd, 2009 at 1:03 pm
I use Thunderbird and can’t live without it.
The plugins for Firefox can’t be beat although for portable surfing (when I’m running off a USB drive) I use Opera since it is completely stealth.
Thanks for the link.

OpenOffice is something we are toying with currently. We are trying to get all our files in the ‘cloud’ and use only open source software. Thanks for the list!

I use Filezilla as my FTP client, but never heard of DNN to manage my content. Thanks for the tip.
I don’t know if this falls within this category, but for business card, flyer, and other business related documents I recommend Microsoft Office Online.

Consider holding lectures to parents with children on how to keep their computers safe, but also clean of problems. A class of two or three might be profitable.

The books and lessons for these are free online if you look in the right places, and the exams would be a few hundred pounds all in for all of them. Also, perhaps look into joining an existing computer repair firm as a rookie for a couple years and get a bit more experience.

You could also send out certificates for a free large session that you set up specially for new people who want to check it out – like an open house…
