Using an image to show your e-mail will help you to secure your e-mail account from the spambots. (The automated computer programs which scan for e-mail addresses on the web). The spambots can only read text in links and there’s no way they can detect the content of an image unless the image exists in their database. You can also use [at] and [dot] to replace “@” and “.”
Email icon turns your plain and ordinary email address into a stylish email badge using the appropriate logo for your email service (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL and many others are supported). You can create your email icon yourself or using this free email icon generator service.

Thanks for this post, it’s very useful indeed. Using image icon for contact email is very useful if you don’t want spammers using robots to spam your email with whatever you don’t need. (You know what I mean) Spams can be irritating and might use up your important email disk space.
