What if you got another type of blog?
Blogger.com
Unfortunately, Blogger did not support automatic pinging for Google Blog Search right now. So you have to do it manually by submitting the url at the ping website. Don’t forget to activate automatic blog pinging for Weblogs.com though. Here’s how you do it.
Log in to your account and go to the ‘Settings’ section of your blog. Then, go to the ‘Publishing’ area. Choose ‘Yes’ in the part where it says: ‘Notify Weblogs.com’. Your Blogger.com weblog will then send pings to Weblogs.com every time you post new content. If you have more than one blog with Blogger.com, you need to activate this in all your blogs, if you wish to use the ping service.
Tips: There’s lot of other blog search engine out. Unfortunately, blogger did not support automatic pinging of other search engine than weblogs.com. There is a site where you can ping to various blog search engines for free, pingomatic.com.
Movable Type
