Whether it is bacause of spam message, or other reason, you might want to block a Yahoo Messenger user from bothering you anymore using the YM service. Now, these are simple ways how you could do it.

To block someone:

1) Right-click their name
2) Select Stealth Settings
3) Choose Permanently Offline
4) Click OK

To kick/ban someone:

1) Double click onto their name (like usual whenever you want to start a conversation)
2) Remove their id from your Yahoo Messenger account window (delete)
3) In the chat window, go to | Actions| , |Contact Options| and click “Ignore”. You can choose whether to mark the person as a spammer or not.
