
You can make your blog more interactive by adding video to it. Most of the cool videos can you get at Google Videos or YouTube. But how to imbedd it in your Wordpress blog’s post? Try these 5 easy steps.
- Download the video these free online tools:
Alternatively, you can use this extension for Mozilla Firefox browser to download video from more video sharing website like MetaCafe, and Dailymotion.
- Upload the video some where in your web server. Make sure that you remember the location.
- Download this plugin. Renamed it to wp-Extremevideo.php. At line 108 of the php file, change the path to the location where you have save your video earlier.
- Activate the plugin
- Use this code to insert Google or Youtube video into your Wordpress post. To avoid complication , turn off the Rich Visual Editor (WYSIWYG tool) in the user tab in your admin panel.
For Google Video, you need to insert the full URL of the video
[gv data="full URL for the Google video"][/gv]
For YouTube video, you just need to enter the video code
[gv data="J1f9JWexxxxx"][/gv]
