It has been a few days I’ve been searching for a free Wordpress plugin that enable my blog visitors to translate this blog into another language such as French, Italian, and German. Imagine having 9 different versions for your blog. Cool isn’t it?
Will be good if you want your blog to benefit others who speak different languages. ![]()
I’ve come across to plugin such as the Angsuman Translator plugin but it will cost me 30 dollar. (maybe I get one soon since this plugin is search engine optimized and cacheable). My journey did not stop there, thanks to god,
today, I found a free plugin called Global Translator created by Davide.
It dynamically translates a blog by wrapping the Google Translation Engine. Download the plugin here and install it. Below is an installation guide for you all in case you failed to install it/or use it.
Instructions
1) First, upload the “global translator” folder in your hard drive to your web server (wp-content/plugins/).
2) Activate the plugin in the “Plugins” page in your Wordpress admin panel.
3) Go to the “Options” page, click the “Global Translator” tab, and choose your blog’s language. (mine set to English)
4) Include this code in your loop(e.g. sidebar.php)
< ?php build_flags_bar(); ?>
Finish! ![]()
