Here is the guide on how to backup your Firefox settings. This guide is very simple. I found it in CHIP Magazine. Thanq you CHIP Magazine.
1) Download a superb program called MozBackup from here. The install it.
2) I want to tell you the function of this program. It will helps you to backup all your essential Fiefox and Thunderbird settings such as bookmarks, mail, contacts, history, extensions, and cache. This is very useful if you want to format your computer or when you a new pc.
3) Pick your Mozilla program and your use and choose “Backup a profileâ€Â. You will be able to password-protect your backup file. Please note that you can’t run Firefox when you’re backing up.
4) When you’re done, the resulting .pcv file will contain all your settings. Email the file to your account and download it toyour new computer. Install Mozbackup on your new computer and run it. Now choose the option “restore a profileâ€Â. This should set your Firefox in the same way you had it in your old computer.
