Sony always come with wacky idea and their creativity continue with the innovation of “transparent television”. Pictures below is not a photoshop edited picture , a “bunshin” or any other fake thing. There is not much information about this concept too, except that the television requires a projector to display an image. 
Very very old skool-shaped speaker, but still nice and serves the need.
Can we use this TV to watch transparent woman?
In my opinion, they had make a great effort doing this trick(probably with some kind of LCD tech combined with projection). Would you buy it if it’s available? Surely need a lot of space just to display the speakers though.

Those TVs are damn beautiful, might be too costly for me to afford.

yeah..and if it’s sold, it will be really expensive.
anyway..if i’m not mistaken, sony planned to build smaller speaker for the tv set. It should matched the tv screen size better/perfectly.

very impractical. hehe. but these things could sell for its novelty and for the tv enthusiasts. imagine having this side by side with a 1949 “box” old school tv. would be great conversational piece.

oh. this is a 2006 article. hehehe. i guess they scrapped this thing from the product line up already.
