The orang minyak-Malay’s term for “oily man” is one of the best known and most feared folk tales in Malaysian culture. It is a naked creature, body’s covered with oil, and usually raping the virgins in the midnight.
Villagers in the Kampung Tawas were afraid with the presence of the orang minyak in their village for the last few months but now, police has caught the demon. It turned out that the orang minyak is a naked man covered in engine oil. He was unemployed and police believe that he may have been responsible for around 20 burglaries in the past two months.
He was eventually caught by a police surveillance operation after locals had told authorities of their fears about orang minyak. Supt Lai Yong Heng of the Ipoh district police said: ‘We are puzzled why the suspect would cover his whole body with engine oil.’ 
my two cent: As far as I know, the real orang minyak needs to rape virgins for the sake of their black magic ritual. The fake orang minyak is always dangerous as thay would wait until you sleep to break into the house. My friend has faced it. btw..i posted this in midnight. Luckily I’m a guy.

LOL.org minyak changed his career from rapist to buglar??!!haha..talk about org minyak..i once read a joke from Ujang..there’s this guy who does know how to pump petrol at the gas station..suddenly org minyak appears (with an angry face) out of nowhere and teach the guy how to pump properly..the org minyak said,”mcm nih, angkat, tolak, masuk, picit”. It was so funny i laughed till my tears come out..ahaha
