In a short explanation, a blog spammer is a person who try to get traffic or backlink to their website by puting unrelated comment or hyperlink in our blog such as in the comment section. It has been few times in this week I’ve confronting spam comment in my blog and it’s a bit tiring to label them as spam everyday through the Wordpress Admin Panel.
Should I use captcha in the comment form? Akismet seems less reliable in this few days. The screenshot below shows one example of the spam comments that I always get for this site.

I did not know whether brunette actresses’s related to pornography or not and if the spammer want to sell something, sorry coz I’m not too stupid to buy his penis-elongating pill. haha..
To put spammer off to the hell, you might want to put this logo to your blog.

or even more extreme graphic like this one..but it’s quite scary..

your commment it’s not a spam because it’s relevance to the topic.
The reason why I said spammer want to get traffic + backlink from our blog is they know how the concept is. if we did not use no-follow tag in the comment field”, that means we’re giving free backlink to those spammers.(One of the side effect is getting bad perception from search engine because linking to spam site) a hyperlink works as a referral, so it should bring traffic to their spam website.
*Spammer’s website always contain virus so it’s a wise choice to avoid them.
thanks for your comment btw.
