The first time i heard about this news, i was shocked and feel a little bit excited
. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum (UAE Prime Minister) is the 5th richest man in the world and he might could help Liverpool in pursuing their dreams to become the best football club in the world.

According to Rick Parry, the investment arm of the Dubai Government had the pilhosophy and resources the club were looking for. If it goes ahead, it could clear the club’s Euro 80m debt, having a new stadium at the Stanley park supporting the capacity of 60 000 supporters, and give the chance for the manager, Rafael Benitez to buy world class players for Liverpool.
The takeover could take place in the end of this month or during the new year. With an estimated personal wealth of $10bn, there are only four men on the planet with more cash than him (not Abrahamovich by the way since he’s only ranked at 11th place).
As a Liverpool fan, I think that it is a good news but we must remember that money is no guaranteed of success. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum seems like a loyal Liverpool Fan and Carlsberg logo will be removed due to his relegious belief about alcohol.

A question: Can Liverpool buy David Beckham if the deal succeeded?

bz; I think that taksin is a fake liverpool supporter,.. dunno why..hehehe..
Although there are some issues with the possible cancle of carlsberg sponsorship with the non-muslim fan, i think that they should look forward. like rafa said, money plays important job in getting success..

Haha, in today world of football, money can buy anything. And the Arabs got plenty of it to spend. So, it will be no surprise at all.
But, don’t buy Beckham, he play like chicken. Buy shevchenko instead.
