VS
Barcelona versus Liverpool match was the most waited match for European Champion League early in this year and it ended with Liverpool winning 2-1. It was a nervous match for me though, since I’m a Liverpool fan and just after ten minutes, Deco scored a header one for Barcelona. However, the Kop did not give up and eventually equalize just before second-half with Craig Bellamy’s goal (which was the follow up of untidy Dirk Kuyt shot’s save from Barcelona’s goalkeeper, Victor Valdes).
John Arne Riise then become Liverpool unsung hero when he scored the winning goal for Liverpool. It’s a surprise since the two Liverpool players were caught fighting each other in a Portugal bar few days ago scored both goals in this matches. The second goal by Riise was helped by an assist from his hot-tempered teammate, Craig Bellamy. It made the whole match funnier for soccer fan around the world which follows the bar’s incident.
Don’t forget to watch next match at Anfield, two weeks from now.
