I just could not resist to blog about this show although I don’t know what’s the reason, maybe because of blogging addiction that affected me badly recently. Well, for those who does not living in the same country as me (Malaysia), Akademi Fantasia is a reality tv program that search for talents mainly in singing. To join this program, the contestant must be a male or a female, aged between 18 to 27, and pass trough several audition processes nationwide to be selected as the final 12 chosen students for the academy. Now the season 5 of the show is back whereas one major difference from the last year is the number of students has been expanded to 16. Here’s a picture of them.

Who will win?
As always, the most likeable student with acceptable voice quality such as yesteryears winner, Faizal, Mawi, Zahid, etc might win this competition. I’ll go for male contestant again this year because music industry in Malaysia trend shows that male celebrity always gain more fans. For this year, we will have the ability to do bulk sms voting via telephone or AF’s java application for mobile phone users to avoid sms-flooding. I don’t know if I’m suppose to vote for them, especially the cute girl wearing tudung. Hmm..for me it would be better if I just be the little observer behind the scene. Viva AF5! | Official site

Why are you all so concerned about lawa, cun, gedik….we’re not looking at those qualities….My dear friends we should be more concerned on quality performance..could these contestants deliver on the preformance night or not?…look at MAWI…tidak ada quality langsung and he won..WHY?
