Coz everyone has a first love story to tell..
Mukhsin is the third and the latest film directed by Yasmin Ahmad after Sepet and the controversial Gubra. This film is a true story about first love between Orked, 10 and Mukhsin, 12 where Orked was too young to understand about love and Mukhsin was in his puberty time’s conflicts. They become closer and closer each day but misunderstanding cause them not speaking to each other, until Mukhsin move from the village…will this film have a happy ending..?
..hopefully..’Mukhsin’ received a nomination for the best film in Berlin in generation category and created its own history when being displayed in Tokyo Film Fesival. I’ve not watch the film yet so I can’t write a review for you (plus my English is not that good to write a fascinating film review). I saw Mukhsin here in Manila. It was shown in the Cinemanila Film Festival. Very light, yet good movie.
