The first time I read the information about this book was during
we study the second chapter of our History subject in high school. The Art of War is a Chinese military treatise written by Sun Tzu during the 6th century BC by Sun Tzu and considered as the definitive work on warfare stratergies and tactis during its time. Interestingly, the Art of War has also been applied with much success to business and managerial strategies.
Well, I don’t know how it’s being implemented to business but I guess some of the content should benefit us in playing some warfare type multiplayer games such as the Age of Empires. Ok, that’s just a joke. One quote interests me, “let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderblot”. Yeah, when thinking of it I fell that in any situation it’s better to be quiete, plan our strategy critically and analytically, and then work it out to have a good result.
Anyway, here’s the English translation of the book in .pdf format. You can read the file with any pdf-reader software such as Foxit Reader (freeware).
