Update: Previous theme has been edited + Two New Color Schemes for Blog Pixel Wordpress theme.
Today is a public holiday in my place so I decided to make the theme that I’m using for this site now available to the public started from last night and fortunately, it’s done now. This is the first theme ever released by BlogAnything.net and released under GPL license with several conditions (refer to theme’s readme file).

I gave this 3-column rounded-corner Wordpress theme the name “Blog Pixel” since the design looks easy on the eyes. It has being designed using my favorite color, blue and by far, the best 3-column theme that I’ve ever produced for Wordpress. The concept is a little bit similar to high-profile blogs out there and to be honest I got the idea to build such theme from Tech-Crunch, LiewCF.com and Engadget. Well, I’m looking forward to receive your response regarding the first version of this theme (1.0) in a form of comment, suggestion, or thank you message. Do report if you find any bug or glitch.
Coded using Crimson Editor, this theme valids Xhtml | CSS and is also optimized for Adsense and SEO. It took me a week to finish all the design process before since I did this part-time. Feel free to use it and modify it into anything that you like as long as you keep the designer’s (me) link stay in the footer in a notable way and not republish it under your own version. Yeah, the whole creation process is tiring and I’m not gonna let anybody walk away freely with copyright infringement.
Sorry for the little ‘threat’. As you know, I’ve seen many people tend to remove copyright before and stated that the theme is designed by them in which I think can be considered a crime to the designer’s work. By abiding the copyright, you know that you’ll automatically earn my respect.
Support for this time will be given by me from time to time so you can expect for an update if this theme does not compatible with future release of Wordpress cms.
Now that you’re already feel interested to try it out, here’s the download link for the themes. I hope you’ll have a nice experience using this theme and feel free to choose the color scheme that you like.

I’d love it more if the “Filed under” thing to be smaller, and lighter colour. It looks weird to be the same as the post content. It’ll also be cool if there’s a top menu just under the header, like k2 theme.
It’s cool overall, clean theme and I really like the rounded corners. Would use it if it has 500px of the first column as many of my previous post have an image of 500px.
Keep it up!

i noticed the same thing pointed out by Vincent, filed under should be smaller and in diff color. Overall it is very basic, simple and clean. Instead of just talking about the copyright thing in you post, maybe you should brag, i mean highlight, the functionalities that comes with it, whether any built in plugin or not etc.

oh, btw, i notice that the comments section didnt change to the appropriate smiley when i key in

nice, very clean theme

vincent: When I use blogging tool such as Blogdesk to write a post and manage the picture, it automatically resize the picture to fit the current width for content section so I think it is a still standard nowadays.
Maybe I’ll think about building the wider version in the future. About the navigation, if I put it under the header in top menu, search engine bot will ’scan it first’ rather than scanning for content first. That’s why I decided to put it into the right sidebar.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment.
mohdismail and fahmishah: okay!
n3dmax and liewCF: Thanks!
Azwan Hadree: Thanks for pointing about the “filed in (category)” section out. I’ll edit it later. There’s no problem with the smiley I guess. And about the functionalities, I guess I won’t build addition plugin for this theme because that would mean double work for me.
But anyway, do report if you all found this theme is not compatible with certain plugin, etc. Maybe that it will need a special adjustment to the layout? And the copyright concern, I can’t help but to write it out. The theme that I’m using right now signifies all it’s qualities I guess. Not many time we would see a 3 column theme with a rounded corner and chilling graphic ,color scheme isn’t it? But man, you’ve just gave me an idea to build other color schemes for this theme, which will make it ‘better’ in term of available features.
Anyway guys, thanks a lot for all the input. I’ll edit the theme and create other color schemes later. (I’m still improving you know).. Wait for the update yea…

This is a wonderful theme. It is clean and simple. I do have two questions.
1. I replaced the header with an image. How can I modify the code so that the image becomes the link to the home page? I also tried adding a Home link to the Navigation section in the rsidebar page but it is not listing as a bullet.
2. At some point in time I would like to ad Google ads. Could you share the pages (or code) that allow you to put ads within each post as well as the ads on top of the sidebars?
Thanks in advance!

Ron: I will release the second version of this theme next week (on Wednesday). There will be a lot of improvements regarding the codes and css. Few features such as gravatar, bottom column, and widget will be added too.
I will also provide special instruction to users on how to put perfectly blended ads to the design.
Stay tune with the update.

Hi! I’m thinking of moving to Wordpress.org and have been looking for a clean, simple theme like this. Teal is the perfect color for me! Just beautiful. My only question is whether, once I download it, I will be able to move the Categories from the top of the post to the bottom. If I have more than a few it may look messy. (I am not very tech-savvy, but if there was a simple change to CSS I could do, that would work for me.) And I agree with some previous posters that a chance to put navigation to special pages on top would be great, although that may be too close to other designs. This is all pretty new to me, so please excuse if I’ve asked too much.

Uch. I feel so stupid asking, but is the header customizable? Specifically, can I put my own image in there and mask the default blog name?
Thank you!

How would I go about moving the sidebar on the far right to the left side of the post?
I like it when the posts are centered and there are sidebars on each side–one for ads on the left and one for links on the right.
Any tips or explanations for this beginner would be highly appreciated.
