To be honest I’m an avid file collector and downloading stuffs is a never ending story for me, especially the rare files. One of the famous method to share file out there is by using Rapidshare.com or Megaupload.com, which are certainly have some limitations. For today, I will share with you all how to bypass the 100 country slots limit for MegaUpload. There are two ways. This applied if you live in country outside United States (mostly Asian countries) such as Malaysia (where I currently residing by the way).
First method
This is how you do it. You are going to install Mozilla Firefox Addon (extension) called User Agent Switcher which you can get from here. After you have installed it, restart your Internet Browser. Click Tools menu ->User Agent Switcher -> Options -> Options and then go to User Switcher Options -> User Agent/ Add…
Enter this setting:
Description : MEGAUPLOAD
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1;SV1;Alexa Toolbar)
You will have to select the Megaupload Agent Switcher instead of Default User Agent Switcher when downloading from Megaupload. Done!
Second Method
Using Mozilla Firefox internet browser, we are going to use another add-on (Megaupload SX.3.2) which is the simplest method so far. Get it here and install as usual. It will make Megaupload detecs your location in a country where there is no download slot limitation set up. (Portugal or Brazil). Good luck!

Without using the tweaks, you will have to installed Alexa Toolbar into your Internet Explorer which I think could slow your computer down and disturb your privacy.

hello, i tired the Megaupload SX.3.2 and i keep getting to the portugal website now. i want to go back to united states because there is where i live. when i uninstall it, i cannot use google or download from megaupload, how do i fix this?

Well… I live in Brazil and there ARE slot limitations in here…
As for the User Agent Switcher, MegaUpload keeps asking me the MegaUpload Toolbar, and I even have it installed already? What do I do?

if your megaupload has changed to another langauge cos of the plugin.. all you have to do is delete your cookies.. and you are back to english!
