As a part time blogger, time is always crucial and I need to take every minutes count to write a new post for all of my blogs. Accomplishing that using the default/ built-in WYSIWYG editor in WordPress Blogging Platform is quite tiring since it lacks of text formating features and slow to load using shared server. Luckily, I found this cool software called BlogDesk. BlogDesk ease my daily task by managing several blogs in one window, beautified with built in spell checker, technorati tags generator, and lots more functions. This software let you edit your blogs posts offline which means you can save it as draft if you wrote the post after been disconnected from the internet.
The integrity
Current version of BlogDesk is compatible with WordPress, MovableType, ExpressionEngine, Drupal, Serendipity, blojsom, dasBlog, Blogg.de, Twoday.net, Myblog.de, and Myblog.es . The setup is as easy like in the screenshot below. You just need to enter the blog setup wizard and after that you can start posting to the newly added blog.

Edit Published Post feature
How about you did something wrong and need to rectify the mistake instantly? For blogging system such as WordPress, with BlogDesk it is possible but I’m not very sure for another blog system/blog hoster. You have to test it yourself.
Do the following if you want to edit a post already published:
1. Select Edit Posts already published in the File menu.
2. Select the blog and the number of posts to be listed and press Show.
3. Select the desired post and press Edit.
Easy way of inserting image or file
Inserting image or any file to be uploaded to your blog is very easy with Blogdesk. You just need to link the anchor to the “local” file location, and it will upload it automatically to your web server for you. With the image in hand, you can also edit them to make cooler, either with border, shadow or “paper tear” effect that we always see in major blogs. The output image will be saved in “Application Data\Blogdesk\images” folder as a backup.
Interface switching
In Blogdesk, you can choose to work in WYSIWYG (What you see is what you got) environment or coder interface. This is useful to add interactive element to the post or adding special HTML tags since you can edit the source file yourself. It is also useful to detect nested tags and make your page compliant with the Web Standards.
Conclusion
If you want something to enhance your blogging mood or planning to move into making blogging as a career, this software is a must try. It is free and you won’t need to do anything such as linking back to use them. When bugs or other flaw, Blogesk support forum is ready to help you solve the problems. For me, this software had save me a lot of headache in blogging. Check it out.

BlogDesk is rubbish - does not support UTF. Try to put anything but Latin and you are screwed.
