Traffic shaping is an attempt to control computer network traffic in order to optimize or guarantee performance, low latency, and/or bandwidth. To prevent it from influencing your BitComet’s download speed can be done in 2 simple steps !
1. Go to: Options > Preferences > Advanced > Connection
2. Next, Go to: ‘Protocol encryption’ You can choose between ‘auto detect’ and ‘always’. Auto detect will give you more connections but offers less protection against traffic shapers.
That’s all. Finish! Make sure that you use the latest version of Bitcomet.
