Have you ever wondered how you could make your old blog’s posts come to alive again? A good way is to display the post’s permalinks in the front page of your blog but that method is not very suitable if you have written many posts. Among many Wordpress plugins that available out there, I discovered one that could help. Though this plugin was released a few months ago, a reader’s request has inspired me to post about it.

The Wordpress plugin that I’ve meant is Random Post plugin by Alaxander Malov. You can take a look at a live demo on my secondary blog here (update: has been taken out). This plugin will display randoms post depending on where you you want to put it, as example before the header to mirror the Weblogs Inc blogs’ style.

CSS syntaxes (add these to your stylesheet):

You can always refer to this plugin’s page for information about how to display the post’s excerpt or other option when it’s upped again. (Since during the time this entry is posted, the plugin author’s website is down).
