I have an Intel Pentium 4 Prescott processor with an Intel stock heat sink and it was bought in late 2006. If you do the math, you will know that it’s already been in my PC for more than one years old and actually I can’t believe that my ears has resisted the noise from the stock cooler for almost two years. ^^!
Since I can’t stand the noise anymore, I ordered a new heatsink called Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro at the price of RM 115 from ModernoPC.com this morning. Its fan has a noise level of 0.9 sone which is slightly lower than Intel’s 4.9 sone. I wanted to buy a water cooling kit but the price is too expensive(about RM400 for a reliable one). Hopefully this little cooler from Arctic Cooling will cure my headache soon.

Exam is around the corner, so I guess I’ll not be in front of the computer to update this blog in this few days. Wait for the update yea! (and pray for my success too).

hi Bat. With the Cool N quite technology, I guess AMD processor did not have much problem, right?..Maybe I’ll buy a new computer with AMD processor in the future although I have to order the hardware online. ( I live in a small town where Intel is the main player in computer market)
