I have posted an entry consisting ways how to protect and repair CD/DVD disc before and by serendipity, I’ve found a video that teach us how to fix the scratches on the disc using toothpaste and uploaded it on YouTube today. Hope that it will benefit fellow readers..

Just use an empty disk add something on it
scratch it up and test it

I’ve used that method for a long time, and have to say that not all kind of the toothpastes will repair disks. Some of them may do even worse

First, because hard drives have no real moving parts, your 360 won’t get nearly as hot as it would if the CD ROM drive were spinning the disc for 1+ hours. Second, if you have a cracked, or scratched disc, it won’t matter because the only thing you need the disc for is when you first boot the game..
