Malaysians have come up with great ideas this year. Started with Nuffnang and Advertlets, they are something that we could be proud of as not all companies in other countries are dare to seek the challenge of becoming dot com moguls and at the same time contribute to the online commnunity.
And when reading mohdismail.com today, I’ve come across a new video sharing site called ManggaTV, a site that serve the purpose of Youtube but with local flavors and language. Just what does it has to offer?
Journey back to the past year, there was a Malaysian version of Digg before which is an experimental project by local programmer powered by Pligg script but it’s now loaded with spams.
Hopefully it will be different with Mangga TV. This video-sharing site loads fast as well as the videos and I think it’s a great sign. It’s totally okay to use the similar idea, but it will be even better if they use different approaches to make it stands out from others.
Local videos uploaded show that they are on the right track. What do you think?

I spend a few minutes on the new video sharing site and i think it’s really is doing a good job at providing a place for users to share local amateur videos.
I might upload mine soon. hehe.

Thanks for the mention! You might want to check out one more as well – http://www.tumpang.com
It’s a site for bulk buying
The idea behind it is that if a lot of people buy together, things are cheaper. Cheers!

josh Lim: So you’re the founder of the sites, is it? Nice project.

@admin: Thanks for the heads up. Good to see another player in the Malaysian market. Might be tough to build and generate momentum, but all the best to the team behind it. ClipShare seems to be very robust.
Our team maintains http://YouTubeMalaysia.com. Check it out for the latest reviews and picks of Made-in-Malaysia TV commercials, movie trailers, etc. We presently only review videos uploaded on YouTube.
