Many people would take away bottles of shampoo and towels from 
hotel, and that’s normal. Now, how about stealing a gold bath?
Recently in Japan, one gang went slightly further when they stole an 18-carat gold bath worth 497,000 euro from Kominato Hotel Mikazuki in Kamogawa, south of Tokyo.
The thieves slipped away with the round bath which is 1.2m in diameter, 71cm tall and weighs 80kg from the tenth floor of the hotel. Two ornamental cranes flanking the bath which was not screwed down were left behind though, and a hotel spokesman said the area was not even monitored by CCTV.
