You’ll see why the Japanese is famous with unique invention with this latest automatic door. Tanaka Seisakusyo’s new automatic door is segmented into multiples strips and open according to the shape of the object that passes trough the door. The door is activated by the infrared sensor located at the small black areas at the inner edges of the strips. Innovative desing isn’t it?
The aim for this door is to block dust from entering the room whenever a person comes inside. However, the person needs to wait for a few seconds for the panels to open up to let he/she squeeze though. Not very suitable if you are time conscious.
