Previously on July 6th, I have posted a simple tutorial on how you can cancel your Friendster account. Since nowadays, our MySpace account might be bloated with unwanted advertisements by the evil internet marketing technique, some readers might be looking for a way to cancel their account to migrate to MySpace’s alternatives. Here we go:
-
Login to your MySpace account and turn to your profile page
-
Click Account Settings hyperlink next to your avatar/photo (it is located at the right side)
-
Change Account Settings page will load. Scroll down the new page and you will see three tiny links that are red in color.
-
Click on “Cancel Account” and confirm. Voila!

I just cancelled my myspace account as well. I’ve never seen so many “Are You Sure”’s to confirm a cancellation.

My daughter forgot her email address password that she used, and now they’re (Myspace) demanding that she send a picture holding a picture of her page. Is there any other way?

MYSPACE WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO DELETE ME ACCOUNT. THIS IS WHAT THEY SENT ME:
Hello,
In order to fulfill your request, we will require a salute – a salute is a current photo of yourself holding a hand written sign containing your MySpace account ID (it is the last series of numbers on your web address bar when viewing your profile).
If this does not address your issue completely, please press “Reply” and provide any additional information you feel is relevant.

I deleted my MySpace account and I am trying to get back some information from that account. Does anyone know if there is any chance that I will be able to obtain any information from my pre-existing account with Myspace?? Hope someone could help! Thanks !

Myspace is simply not sending confirmation emails when you want to cancel your account. I’ve made a few mistakes creating an account, and now wanting to remove them to get a proper one, and have yet to recieve confirmation email.
All other messages are recieved, but the cancel account is not.
I don’t know what has changed, but they’re simply not sending them, or answering any queries to their troubleshooting department…

@Antonio – There is no chance to get data/info back once you have deleted the account… however you may try search on google which caches more than 17 million pages from myspace.com. try entering search string as
site:myspace.com inurl:
for example
site:myspace.com inurl:fancorps
from the results click on “Cached” links to get page snapshot
