I will surely try this. There is a doubt. What about the Adobe updates? Will it refill the folder when it finds nothing there?

I don’t think opening PDFs are that slow, then again I am not opening huge books. Though some of the files we get can get pretty big.

I just use a lightweight version of adobe to view PDF’s, I rarely need the full functionality of adobe and it’s slow even with mods like these.

I agree with shutterspeaks. Foxit has a smaller footprint compared to Adobe

there are faster way to do so. much much faster in fact. uninstall adobe acrobat, donwload foxit reader, blazing fast compare to adobe. i never use adobe ever since.
