computer tips and tutorials. The power on your side..

I guess I’m one of those who are having unfortunate problem with computer power supply. I made a promise to a reader that I will release new version of the three columns Wordpress theme called Blog Pixel which I’ve designed for this blog soon.

Well, it will be out, but might be late a little bit due to the problem.

I have just ordered a new power supply from Modernopc to replace the old power supply that burnt due to accidental mistake on last Wednesday. Too bad that the second version of the theme is still stuck in my pc and I did not have backup copy of the files.

Usually, when the power supply goes down the other computer hardware will go down too but the theory doesn’t applied to my accidental case.

I was sure that my other pc components are still workable as I’ve tested them with my old, unstable power supply just before I made the decision to order a new unit.

The power supply should be arrived next week. It’s a Silverstone Strider ST56F 560 Watt (with active PFC) model by Silverstone Tech. Let’s pray that this baby won’t cause me much problem in the future.
