There is a great alternative than the heavy download of Star Office.

You can stream the app direct from Endeavors Technology.

staroffice is okay. i think it is quite similar with MSOffice. the only problem is that when a friend sends you .doc documents with tables.

Aseem: I plan to use it once I’ve reformatted my computer.
Balinese: Yeah, basically they are good for people who can’t afford the expensive Microsoft Office Suite (like me, hehe..)

What I meant was, Openoffice.org (released in year 2000) is based on Star office which was acquired by Sun in 1999.

Saya telah rujuk sejarah openoffice.org bagi kenyataan di atas. Mungkin struktur ayat saya tidak betul di situ sebab nak tulis cepat. Walau bagaimanapun, struktur ayat tersebut telah saya tukarkan menjadi ayat lain yang tidak mengelirukan. Terima kasih atas perhatian yang diberikan saudara Hasbullah.

Google has added another software called Star Office; an office suite software package developed by Sun Microsystems which was also the based of the free Open Office office suite created for the Linux systems.
