Veoh.com is a new video sharing site (currently in BETA stage) that has served the public with videos since January 2007.
Unlike the established Youtube or other video community websites you can find out there, Veoh distributes video clip content in original format rather than transcoding to it to lower quality version to save bandwidth.
How to download full quality Video from Veoh?
-
VeohTV BETA is a free software with P2P technology that let you download videos served in Veoh.com and other popular video site.

If you choose not to watch the video in their website, you can download the original version of the video file using the VeohTV BETA software. Here’s how you do it:
-
Register an account at Veoh.com. Download Veoh TV Beta client, install, and log in to it. Then, click BEGIN.
-
Open your internet browser and visit Veoh.com again. Search for the tv series/ video you want to download.

Click on the download video button. Your Veoh TV Beta Client will automatically download the file.
The downloading speed that you will get will depend on the number of peers available as well as your own internet connection speed.
Additional methods:
You can use additional methods to download video from Veoh, but the quality of the file wouldn’t be great as it will be in .flv format.
Methods: Grab the download link via ClipNabber or download the file manually using Orbit Downloader with the assist of Grab++ utility inside the software.

Just FYI…. VEOH no longer permits downloading of video in original format unless you are a paid “Pro” user. They are now converting the original video files to FLV.

Actually VeohTV does NOT allow you to download videos in original formats.
The way to do this is like so……
Use
http://www.ninjathis.net/scripts/veohdl/
OR
http://www.lemonscripts.com/scripts/veohorig.php
The rest is easy.

actually, you register your account and dl the files…however, veoh wants you to use their client to watch the files (kinda like real player), so they hide the files in the system. go to /veoh/WatchNow and you will find the files. rename the file to .flv and convert to whatever (.avi)

Veoh now allows you to download original high quality content. But forces you to download their client (Veoh TV)
Like Grain said above:
Use http://www.lemonscripts.com/scripts/veohorig.php to download original content without the need to download or install their client.
I have just finished testing it and its working perfectly!
Thanks for the link!

if you downloaded the client, it stores videos you have added to the My Documents/My Videos directory.
if you still cant find it, make sure it was downloaded by the client – it should be in your “Library” tab and make sure you can play it with your internet connection disabled.
then, set up a search in Explorer (file manager, not IE) for a file larger than 300 MB. (assuming the vid you downloaded was larger than that).
there arent too many files in an OS that will be that large so chances are, one of your results will be your file.

Ok. I’m confused. I downloaded the Veoh Web Player Beta (assuming it would help me download videos from the site) But the instructions given in this article aren’t possible.
This article (on this site) says to install the software, and then click the download button to d/l the video. But WHAT download button? There ISN’T one! And if there is, I don’t see it!
