Bored waiting for your favourite open source internet browser to load? Apart from adding more random access memory (RAM) to your computer, you can try FFPreloader to improve Mozilla Firefox access time.

This little application (840kb) is designed to load parts of Mozilla Firefox into memory before it’s used to speed up its startup/boot time. You should feel the difference if you try it on a slow pc.

Sounds like a good idea. I shall do so in a while after consulting someone else who also uses this computer. Thank you.

IE is an advantage for speed matter. To open it I just need to open any folder (including my computer or so) and type in the url, press enter and .. IE is on in no time

I installed the little thing and it helps. No errors or any bugs.

Safari is faster at starting than IE and FF both. But he uses his cache differently. On Apples web site they say Safari is faster in browsing than other browsers, but I didn’t notice the difference.

In firefox you can use the special page about:config and make some changes for speed improvement! I’ll write a list of changes next week.
