computer tips and tutorials. The power on your side..

The abundance of free web applications in the internet nowadays has certainly made our life easier. With a computer and a fast internet connection, we will be able to do a lot of stuffs with the machine such as adding some cool effects to our recently captured photo or converting our audio files online for free.

instaSaver

instaSaver (which you could guess the function by its name) is another new web application that was created recently. This tiny nifty tool will help you instantly create screensavers from your favourite photo without any hassle. Specify the name, upload your photos or get from your collection in Flickr, and the screensaver with over 150 transition effect is ready.

After the screensaver is done, you will get a fully standalone distribution package that enables you to easily install and/or distribute your screensaver from instaSaver. The installer will automatically install the screensaver on the user’s computer and activate it. If the user would like to remove the screensaver, he or she can do it using the same installer application.

Requirements: instaSaver requires Javascript to be turned on your internet browser to be used (most modern internet browsers do have this support). Screensavers created with instaSaver will only run in Windows OS for this moment.

Suggestion to the developer (if he read this review) :P : The hyperlink to its homepage is unavailable in the other page, such as the help page. I think it should be corrected for smoother user browsing experience.
