Need icon for web application development? Here are my favourite sources.
This free icon set is the most popular one right now. The ‘Version 1.3’ of the Silk web icon set contains 1000 icons , including report icons, some new picture icons, some small XHTML/CSS buttons, and some hardware drive icons. The feed icons have been brought into line with new standard, and all icons have been compressed to lower the filesize.
Since this icon pack is under Creative Common License, you’ll have to link back to their website if you want to use it.
Here is another set of good icons. Unlike Silk Icons, Tango Icons are available for use with both operating system and web application development. KDE and Gnome users are able to use this and more importantly, they look quite nice on websites! Make sure you have read and understood Generic Icon Theme Guidelines before you use the icons.

The good news is, this icon pack is also available for Windows XP GUI. Here is the shell patcher.
Fuad: As you can see, these icons are not only useful for web application developers, but also for webmasters who want improve the visual look of their website. Just add small icon beside the navigation, and it would look great
If you guys got any other source to recommend, don’t forget share it with us here..

Would you like to join webmasters alliance?
Kick-starting a new web site is a slow and frustrating process.
By joining this alliance @ http://www.skillipedia.com/ser/index.hm, you will get your web site reviewed,
your forums populated and hopefully you will be getting a decent
number of vistors and backlinks till you get you web site off-the-ground.
It’s one of the many free seo services at skillipedia
