Tanaka Seisakusyo’s new automatic door is segmented into multiples strips and open according to the shape of the object that passes trough the door. The door is activated by the infrared sensor located at the small black areas at the inner edges of the strips. Innovative desing isn’t it?

The aim for this door is to block dust from entering the room whenever a person comes inside. However, the person needs to wait for a few seconds for the panels to open up to let he/she squeeze though. Not very suitable if you are time conscious.

Do you agree that bicycling is a enjoyable avocation to do? Well, I felt that when my friend and I was bicycling for few kilometers along the sea side using our mountain bikes two years ago. It was really tiring when we were against the direction of wind back then but worths the experience and calories burnt.

Now for those people who want to hear music while riding their bicycles, Hammacher Schlemmer recently designed a new MP3 player to be plugged into your bicycle. The music player can play 1 GB of music and provided with a speaker to eliminate the need of a headphone (a SD card lot is provided for expansion if you want more capacity).

It has also a water-proof and cradle system attached to the handle bars which will protect the device from unwanted weather condition and removable, rechargeable core unit that can be taken inside for reloading and recharging via USB.

Still want to use with a headphone? A headphone jack is there for you. Mobility is not a problem anymore as I far as i’m concern since the MP3 player may be removed from the docking station for use with your own standalone speakers. Product page
